Can India Citizens with United States Residence Visit Canada?

Travel documents must be valid for the duration of stay.

Passengers must have a valid visa issued by Canada. Passengers with a Permit to Re-Enter (Form I-327) issued by the USA do not need a visa for a maximum of 6 months. Residents of the USA do not need a visa for a maximum of 6 months if they have:- a Permanent Resident/Resident Alien Card (Form I-551) issued by the USA; or- a machine-readable visa issued by the USA with notation 'Upon Endorsement serves as temporary I-551 evidencing permanent residence for 1 year' and a U.S. Custom and Border Protection admission stamp; or- an I-551 stamp (also known as an Alien Documentation, Identification and Telecommunication (ADIT) stamp); or- a Permanent Resident/Resident Alien Card (Form I-551) issued by the USA without an expiration date; or- an expired Permanent Resident/Resident Alien Card (Form I-551) issued by the USA with Form I-797 (Notice of Action) for pending Form I-751 (Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence) or with Form I-829 (Petition by Investor to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status); or- an expired Permanent Resident/Resident Alien Card (Form I-551) issued by the USA with Form I-797 (Notice of Action) for pending Form I-90 (Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card(Green Card)); or- a Form I-94 issued by the USA with an unexpired temporary I-551 stamp (ADIT stamp) and a passport photo. Passengers with a Certificate of Indian Status card issued by Indigenous Services Canada do not need a visa. A visa in an expired travel document is accepted if the passenger has a new travel document issued by the same country.

Visitors without a return/onward ticket could be refused entry.

All passengers must complete an E-311 CBSA Declaration Card prior to arrival. Passengers can complete an advance declaration up to 72 hours prior to arrival on the ArriveCAN app. Visitors traveling for business are recommended to have documents such as a letter of invitation from the Canadian host business, a supporting letter from the employer, copy of bills or contracts supporting the visit, and contact details of the host business in Canada to facilitate entry procedures. Minors who travel alone are also strongly advised to have a consent letter signed by a legal guardian or parent with legal custody, containing: - authorization to travel outside the country; - the destination in Canada, also indicating length of stay; - the signor's address and telephone details. Minors who travel with one parent/guardian, are also strongly advised to have a consent letter signed by the other legal guardian or parent with legal custody, containing: - authorization to travel outside the country; - the destination in Canada, also indicating length of stay; - the signor's address and telephone details. Minors who travel with adults that have no legal custody over them, are strongly advised to have a consent letter signed by a legal guardian or parent with legal custody, containing: - authorization to travel with another person, and to be outside the country; - the destination in Canada, also indicating length of stay; - the signor's address and telephone details. Parent(s) traveling with a child under 18 years are strongly advised to have documentation containing evidence that the child is theirs.Parents who are separated or divorced are advised to keep legal and other relevant documents available, in order to clarify custody rights.
