Can Philippines Citizens Visit Ethiopia?

Passengers attending meetings, seminars, or workshops can obtain a visa upon arrival. They must have an approval letter from Ethiopian Immigration, arranged in advance by their sponsor through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Passengers with an Ethiopian Origin ID Card do not need a visa. Passengers can obtain an e-visa before departure at https://www.evisa.gov.et/. They must have a printed visa approval letter.

Visitors must have a return/onward ticket unless they are residents of Ethiopia or have an Ethiopian Origin ID card.

Nationals of the Philippines and airline crew departing the Philippines must register at https://etravel.gov.ph at most 72 hours before departure.
