About VisaRadar
What is VisaRadar?
VisaRadar is a free tool that answers a question most visa checkers ignore: what happens to your travel options when you add your residence card?
If you hold a weak passport — India, Philippines, Nigeria, Pakistan, or any of 20+ similar countries — your passport alone opens somewhere between 11 and 95 destinations visa-free. But if you also hold a US Green Card, UK BRP, Schengen residence card, or Gulf iqama — your map changes significantly. VisaRadar shows you both maps, side by side, in under a second.
Who is it for?
VisaRadar is built for travelers who live and work abroad while holding a passport that doesn't open many doors on its own — and who want to know what their residence card actually unlocks.
Common examples: an Indian software engineer in the US who wonders whether their Green Card lets them visit Mexico without a visa. A Filipino nurse in the UK who wants to travel Europe but isn't sure what their BRP covers. A Nigerian professional in Germany with an EU Blue Card exploring Southeast Asia.
The tool works for all 198 passports. But it is most transformative for those whose residence card opens doors their passport alone does not.
Data Methodology
VisaRadar maintains a curated database of visa requirements, cross-referenced from multiple official sources and processed to identify which passport + residence card combinations unlock visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa access to each destination.
Each rule in our database includes the visa status, maximum allowed stay duration, and specific requirements (passport validity, proof of funds, return tickets, etc.). The data is updated regularly and covers 198 passport countries, 195+ destinations, and 20 residence card types.
How It Works
- Select your passport nationality from the dropdown
- Add your residence card (US Green Card, UK BRP, Schengen permit, etc.)
- See all destinations color-coded on the interactive world map
- Click any country for detailed visa requirements
